The Wine RayZyn Company’s CabernayZyns have been selected as a finalist for the prestigious 2017 NEXTY Awards. The NEXTY Awards are presented at Natural Products Expo West, which is the leading food trade show in the natural, organic and healthy products industry. Over 70,000 industry professionals and 3,000 exhibitors attend the show at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. CabernayZyns are one of six finalists in the “Best New Snack” category. The awards are judged on three criteria: innovation, inspiration, and integrity. According to the NEXTY Awards’ website, “These are products that show truly creative thinking and execution; adhere to a mission with wide-reaching potential; or take a new approach to clean ingredients, sustainability, or transparency.
According to Chris Cates, M.D., a cardiologist and the Founder and CEO of The Wine RayZyn Company, “We are honored and thrilled to be a NEXTY finalist. Our company has a culture of innovation, health, sustainability, and quality. All of our CabernayZyns are hand harvested in California and are made from antioxidant rich, specially dried premium Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes. We take careful steps to provide only pure ‘nature’ to our consumers. CabernayZyns are all natural, naturally sweet, and contain no preservatives or artificial flavors. Our entire team is excited to participate in our first Expo West and to be a finalist among other excellent snack foods.”
About CabernayZyn™
CabernayZyns are a brand new superfood that combines the unique flavor of the Cabernet wine grape with the power-packed nutrients of wine grape seeds and skins. CabernayZyns are an innovative snack. Prior to the creation of Wine RayZyns, there was not a USDA food category for wine grapes. The Wine RayZyn Company caramelizes the wine grape seed inside the fruit using a special patented drying process, thereby creating the first palatable way for humans to eat wine grape seeds in their whole form as Nature intended, making CabernayZyns a whole food with bio-available nutrients. Bio-availability is important, as it signifies the rate and the degree at which nutrients are recognized and naturally absorbed into the body.
